FEATURED ARTIST KENTURAH DAVIS!!!!

ABOUT KENTURAH DAVIS

The premise of my work is occupied with the dynamics between the metaphysical and the material realm that manifest in human interaction, resting in the understanding that our physical state and circumstances in which we find ourselves are dictated by invisible paradigms/structures to which we are subject. It examines how identity is constructed through principal structures - namely spiritual, political and social - and explores the language that buttress/sustain these structures. From mothers to revolutionaries, the lives portrayed in these images reveal a profound acknowledgment of how words (via thoughts, reasoning and principles) are the fuel for the actions carried out by the characters and a lens through which we understand the world around us. By composing the images with text, I make palpable the ideas and experiences that are embodied in language. The text is layered to the point of illegibility as a way to substantiate the space of things unnamed, unarticulated and immaterial.

PREMIERE ARTIST!!! CHRIS WHITENHILL PHOTOGRAPHY: LIFE IN GREY

ABOUT CW PHOTOGRAPHY

I grew up in Chino Hills, CA and since I was 13, I've always enjoyed shooting pictures. But it wasn't until 2 years ago that I began to focus on my talent for photography, which led to discovering my love for capturing what I see in the world and showing it to others. I give God all credit for my ability and I hope that His glory will be seen in every shot I take. I hope you enjoy!

PAPARAZZI X ALL FALLS DOWN MASH* UP BY ARKITECT DROPPING THIS FRIDAY!!!!!

YEA, YOU READ IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
IT AIN'T CHRISTMAS YET, BUT HERES A GIFT FOR YOUR EARDRUMS.
SEE YOU THEN.

DATSUN BODY AND DESIGN CENTER BY MATTHEW TROTTER (ARKITECT)

DATSUN BODY AND DESIGN CENTER
(~60,000 SQ FT)

Located between the 10 and 110 freeway, the Datsun Body and Design Center is a tribute not only to the japanese classic car but to Los Angeles' car culture also. Instead of actual car movement dictating the architectural language, the building is designed around the movement of spaces, machinery, and car parts. The project also strives to connect the tuning passion of car enthusiasts and the spatial quality of churches, hoping to create a spiritual feeling between the car and admirer.
